Dirt Problems

I'm finally a 6th year student now! Haha. Most of the students are getting ready to go back home now. I'm so stuck here now that everyone is gone and my flight is on the 27th.

So you can see all those packing ups of the luggages, cleaning the rooms, washing off the fridge and doing all the last minute jobs getting rid of all the dusts.

I hate doing all these cleaning ups, wasting all my energy and time. How I hope to call up a maid to help me do all of this. Or just call in the dog to lick up any food spilled on the kitchen floor

5238dd240x180public

I could remember the most incredible cleaning job I've done is that when my kitchen floor is flooded. What did I do? Under desperation, I took the vacuum cleaner and used it to suck up all the water. Eventually the vacuum cleaner broke down. Haha!

Now I've got a better solution to all these Dirt Devil
is the answer to save energy and to provide the first cordless cleaning technology. And this is the one to get Energy Star approval.

Frankly speaking, as a medical student here, I don’t get the chance to flirt at all. The reason is that, first, I’m here in Russia, unless you speak fluent Russian (which I think is quite impossible for me) , you can’t really flirt with a Russian chick. Haha.

Prediction of the coming Disaster

Mr. Juseleeno, born in 1960(reportedly still alive in 2008), is a Brazilian who has made many predictions, and MOST have come to pass, including Princess Diana's death by car accident (which is instigated by someone near her and will probably unfortunately be written off as a car accident), 911 and the 2004 Indonesian tsunami. He sees the future in his dreams, and has an average of 3 to 9 such predictions per day. When he wakes up, he will write them down, and send warnings to those concerned.

If it concerns only a normal individual, he will write a letter to warn him/her. If it is a famous person(celebrity, politician etc.), or matters concerning the public, he will not only send it to the individual himself/herself, but also related agencies, government, and media. He urged the media to publicise these predictions, but the reply always went along the lines of rejection for fear of arousing public panic.

Future predictions:
2008, July: There will be an earthquake in Japan, which will cause a tsunami of 30 plus metres high to occur as well.

2008, 18th September: An earthquake with magnitude of approximately 9.1 will rock China , simultaneously causing a tsunami of more than 30 metres to occur, resulting in the deaths of more than 1 million people.

Although this huge earthquake will happen after the Olympics have ended, there will be a series of relatively smaller earthquakes occurring in China before the huge earthquake. The China government, which is more concerned with the success of the Olympics, will most likely neglect to employ appropriate cautionary measures, thus the high casualty rate. If the China government does not publicise the occurrence of these minor earthquakes and evacuate people, the number of deaths will be as predicted.

2008, 17th December: terrorist attack in America

2010: The temperatures in some countries of Africa could be as high as 58 degrees Celsius, and there will be a serious shortage of water.

2010, 15th June: The New York Stock Exchange market will fail, causing an international financial crisis.

2011: The research on the treatment of some cancers will be completed, but a new life-threatening virus will appear. People who are infected will die after only approx. 4 hours of coming into contact with the virus.

2013, 1st - 25th November: Research on treatment of cancers, except for brain tumors, will be completed. An earthquake, caused by volcanic eruptions, will happen on Bahama Island of the Canary Islands. A gigantic tsunami of roughly 150 metres will result. America mainlands, Brazil etc. will be affected, with the tsunami pushing into the land as far as 15 to 20 kilometres. Before the occurrence of this gigantic tsunami, the sea/ocean water levels will sink by about 6 metres, and large flocks of birds will start to migrate.

2014: A small planet that has been gradually closing in on Earth might eventually collide with Earth, and this collision, if come to pass, will affect the survival of humans as a whole.

2015: By the mid of November, the average temperature of Earth could be as high as 59 degrees Celsius. Many people will die from the overheat, and international confusion and terror ensues.

2016, April: A huge typhoon will invade China, causing massive damage. The 43rd USA president, George Walker Bush, will enter the hospital, and faces a life or death situation.

2026, July: A super earthquake will occur in Sans Francisco, and it will be named "The Big One". Huge damage to surrounding areas. Many volcanoes will re-activate, and the height of resulting tsunami will be more than 150 metres.

Mr. Juseleeno made known his predictions in hopes that people will take heed of his warnings, so that these disasters may be avoided. He hopes there will be a major change in the thinking of people's mindsets in the time period 2007 - 2008. One factor will be the environmental issue of global warming, which is more serious than what some meteorologists assume.

Study: Blog readers not necessarily opposition sympathisers

A study on the role and influence of the Internet and especially blogs found no concrete evidence that those who read blogs regularly were inclined to sympathise with opposition parties.

The study Peranan dan Pengaruh Internet dan Kewartawanan Bloggers Terhadap Pengundi Semasa Pilihan Raya Umum Malaysia 2008 (The Role and Influence of the Internet and Journalistic Bloggers on Voters during the 2008 General Election) was conducted by Prof Madya Dr Baharuddin Aziz, Dr Rahmat Ghazali and Dr Abd Rasid Abd Rahman from Universiti Teknologi Mara's Communications and Media Studies Faculty.

About 80% of respondents were aware of blogs, which were popular with the middle class and below.

"After making the cross matching, we found that there was no strong evidence that supports the notion that the Internet content had moved people to vote for the opposition," Dr Baharuddin told Bernama here recently.

He said many newspaper readers and television viewers had also switched to supporting the opposition in the March 8 polls.

The one-month study also found that banners, posters and pamphlets played a crucial role in swaying voters' sentiment for the opposition.

The study conducted on 1,100 voters in four zones -- north (28%), south (22%), east coast (19%) and central (31%) used the stratified group sampling method.

Future elections

Dr Baharuddin said "digital media warfare" and the preference of the younger generation should be given serious thought, particularly with the presence of 1.8 million fresh voters for the next election in 2012 or 2013.

Mobile TV and handphone networks are also expected to play a major role.
"We cannot deny that the digital divide still exists in the country, but we can no longer sweep aside the role of new media.

"During the Ijok and Machap by-elections, bloggers were already active but their impact was insignificant, unlike what happened during the 2008 general election," he said.

Barisan Nasional was at the receiving end as it failed to adequately address issues raised.
"For example, on Feb 13, newspaper front-page reports were not only on the dissolution of Parliament but also on judiciary issues," he said.

Dr Baharuddin said a weak approach did not clarify sensitive issues, causing the public to switch to reading blogs for further clarification, which ultimately had a detrimental effect on the ruling coalition. -- Bernama

Do you flirt?

Are you those who do flirtings a lot?

Basically, as for an Asian like me, we don't really flirt a lot, as we are still not so open minded yet.
A little bit of shy and nothing much.

Anyways, things have changed as I have noticed. My younger generations are more open and daring now. Having the Extreme Style by VO5 , nice clothings and extra accessories, gave them all the confidence they needed.

Besides, companies like Victory Hair provide professional hairstyling, giving you the perfect look you need to be an ultimate flirter. Haha.

Shed some lights

Have you ever planned for your future home sweet home? About how are you going to decorate your future house?

As for me, I plan to have a detached house of my own. Residents of this sweet home will be my warm family. Haha !

The interior design will be simple and sophisticated. The furniture will be something like IKEA's design. I like it to be elegant and simple. The indoor lighting will be of various kinds.

Last one to go

Yeah, just finally finished my Therapy exam today! Thank God I've finally passed the paper. Now one more to go, and thats Surgery paper.

Can't really imagine how stress it was before the paper today, so many to study and time never seems to be enough. And of course that massive amount of stress will lead to more eruption of acne.

I desperately need some acne treatments now. Any suggestions guys?

Manga Craze !!

I remember listening to the loud screaming voices of my friend who like to do this.
'Bang-Kaiii !!!!' That's the only expression he learned from the anime Bleach.

We've all been watching a lot of anime here, including Bleach and a lot others. I like the main character in there the most, Ichigo Kurosaki !! He's so handsome and stylish! Haha !

Now that Bleach the Movie will be out soon, I'm really looking forward to it. If I were to create an anime, I'll name my main character Xelx. How does that sound?

Celebrities Gossips

Hollywood is really a happening place, especially filled of glamorous celebrities and their gossips.

Everyday when you flip over a magazine, newspaper, you can always see their faces all around in the articles. How the paparazzis stalk and discover their secrets.

But I personally prefer seeing them wearing nice designer jewelry which sometimes could really cost a big fortune ! So the next time you see them wearing one, try guessing how much it costs.

Golf resorts

I still remember after my secondary school, there was a free period before the results will be announced.

Therefore, my friends and I decided to look for a part time job. Some of them worked in restaurants, some worked in shops and others became caddies in golf clubs, Callaway golf clubs for example.

As for me, I just helped mum out in the tuition centre, worked as a part time tutor, its was kind of fun anyways.

Information Technology

Actually before deciding taking up Medicine, there are lots of options available for us school leavers. Among them are Engineering, IT jobs, Agricultural, Law and Business.

And of course, then, I have friends who opted for technology careers such as Information Technology and Computer Science. Personally I think these jobs wou'd be practical in the nearest future, as computer technology is developing at a fast pace today.

Candles for life

Do you know that candles have lots of uses other than the primitive way?

Candles today are used in various ways. For example, in Votive Candles, Floating Candles, Tealight Candles, Jar, Wedding Candles, Restaurant Candles, Glass Candle Holders and Monogrammed Glassware.

Now that there are companies providing low pricing and quick shipping has made a favorite of restaurants and wedding planners, as well as home decorators. They buy directly from the manufacturer in order to guarantee the highest quality at the lowest possible prices.

Get secured

Whats wrong with the world today?

A lot of incidents have been happening recently. Wars, conflicts, accidents and all sorts of epidemic outbreaks. Transmitted diseases like HIV are so prevalent now.

Therefore, everyone should be insured medically through medicare insurance. These medical insurances are a protection for yourself and also your family members. Besides, you can get medical checkups regularly to determine any chronic diseases you have.

Party people

Are you those who goes to parties very often? Honestly, I'm not sure about others, but I think I don't get to parties often.

Most party invitations we have here are those made to celebrate friends' birthdays. We'll then organise our own mini birthday bash for the birthday boy or girl.

The party of course, will be mainly on food actually. We'll cook several dishes together. Haha, I'm hoping for the next one to come. Whose birthday's around the corner?

Dangers of cell phone

A few days ago, a person was recharging his cell phone at home. Just at that time a call Came in and he answered it with the Instrument still connected to the outlet.

After a few seconds electricity flowed into the cell phone unrestrained and the young man was thrown to the ground with a heavy thud. His parents rushed to the room only to find him unconscious, with a weak heartbeat and burnt fingers.

He was rushed to the nearby hospital, but was pronounced dead on arrival. Cell phones are a very useful modern invention.

However, we must be aware that it can also be an instrument of death. Never use the cell phone while it is hooked to the electrical outlet!

Witness Troubles

Lately, I've been watching lots of series. The latest one I guess would be the one on 'Tai Chi'. Its a nice one, I like most of the action scenes in there.

Actually for most of my free time I'll spend them watching series, most of them are cantonese ones. Which I think most Chinese actually do spend a lot of their time, with families, sitting in front of the TV watching series.

And of course, sometimes I hate watching series because you have to sit and follow each of the episodes. In USA Network's new original series In Plain Sight , which premieres on the 1st of June, its all about witness protection program.

I've done a vid about me hiding in some place. Here you go.

Guys guess where I am there? Clue : The states. Haha! Leave your comments.

I can't wait

Yeah!! Counting down to 23 days before I finally have my summer break, this feels so good.

The bad side of it, I don't feel the big motivation to study for the remaining 3 papers. Just had my Russian Language exam yesterday. Passed it. Pheww ~~

Going to stop by Kuala Lumpur first before going back to Sarawak. Shop a little and eat the nice food there.

Free today as we don't have class today. The lecturer decided that its a 'Referat Day' ----> its a Russian term anyways, a holiday reserved for students to do their assignments at home! Haha.

Free

Yeah finally finished another final paper, means I've got 3 more to go now. Felt kind of free now. Less burden.

Drama and Series

Its been really pleasing to have watched so many series and dramas.

Actually for most of my free time I'll spend them watching series, most of them are cantonese ones. Which I think most Chinese actually do spend a lot of their time, with families, sitting in front of the TV watching series.

In this coming USA Network's new original series In Plain Sight, which premieres on the 1st of June, its all about witness protection program. Like those series that I have watched before this, the police will have to protect the main and most important eyewitness of a big crime. Haha!

Then you'll see how the villains try to assasinate the eyewitness. All sorts of actions start here.

Obama, Clinton near end of historic Democratic race

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Barack Obama edged closer to capturing the Democratic presidential nomination on Tuesday amid a flurry of speculation that Hillary Clinton will quickly drop her White House bid.

The Clinton campaign quickly denied a report by The Associated Press that the New York senator would say on Tuesday night that Obama has the delegates to secure the Democratic nomination.

"The AP story is incorrect. Senator Clinton will not concede the nomination this evening," the campaign said in a statement issued just minutes after the report was issued.

Clinton campaign chairman Terry McAuliffe told CNN Clinton was "absolutely not" conceding the campaign and said the AP report was completely incorrect.

"We've got to spend the next three days... working the superdelegates to convince them a) Hillary got more votes than anyone else and b) she is the best one to take on John McCain in the fall," he said.

With 31 delegates to the Democrats' August convention at stake, Democrats in South Dakota and Montana cast the final votes on Tuesday in the five-month state-by-state battle for the right to face Republican John McCain in November's presidential election.

Obama needs fewer than 40 delegates to reach the 2,118 required to capture the nomination and become the first black presidential nominee of a major U.S. political party.

The Illinois senator could hit that number as soon as Tuesday night depending on how quickly he wins commitments from nearly 200 uncommitted superdelegates -- party officials who are free to back any candidate.

He secured one key endorsement on Tuesday from U.S. Rep. James Clyburn of South Carolina, the third-ranking Democrat in the U.S. House of Representatives and the top-ranking black member of Congress.

"Today the process ends," Clyburn told NBC's "Today" show.

He urged other superdelegates to follow his lead and announce their support on Tuesday so the Democratic Party could have a clear nominee by the end of the day. A number of other superdelegates began throwing their support behind Obama.

Voting ends in South Dakota at 7 p.m. MDT/9 p.m. EDT (0100 GMT), and in Montana an hour later, with results expected shortly after.

The polls opened amid growing speculation about when Clinton would drop out of the race and end the grueling, historic battle for the Democratic nomination.
