Yeah, I'm so relieved to be finally back home. And after all the devastating travelling I still think that actually home is the best. Home sweet home as the saying goes.
Have been browsing through the net, found something interesting on Cisco certification
If you are what they call the "network guy" getting a Cisco certification is bound to gain you
some credibility and status in the eyes of prospective employers. Not only that, the Cisco website also provides a forum for all its students to discuss about the course or basically anything among each other thus enabling interaction. You could discuss about exams, revision tips or if you have completed your certification, you could ask for advice on what career path to go after this. As i browsed through the forums, i have seen that most people who have completed some form of the Cisco certification is seeking to change or improve their career path.
Generally, The Cisco Learning Network gives you a chance to specialize a certain field in IT by giving various certification paths. These are Routing and Switching, Design, Security, Service Provider, Storage Networking, Voice and Wireless. In addition to these career certifications networking personnel can enhance their core knowledge by achieving specialist certifications in technologies such as security, IP telephony, and wireless.
As a young student of IT, Cisco will definitely advance me more on this career that I chose. Just like what my Network Engineer and a Cisco Certified professor said, having that useful certification will absolutely keep our success much clearer to happen.
