Watchin' CSI Vegas

Have been watching CBS CSI (Crime Scene Investigation) Las Vegas lately, and I’ve been wondering, how did the producers get so much ideas of the cases there, are they even in real life cases? Cause everything seems very real and detailed. Haha.
